Upcoming Events:

-Kayak/Canoe Day:  Wednesday, July 19th.  Sign up by July 17th.  Cost is $30.  You will need to print/fill out a medical release form from Clements Canoes.  We will leave at 9:30 AM.  Bring money for lunch as well.

-Slip ‘n Slide Kickball:  Sunday, July 23rd:  6-8 PM at the church!

Mission C’ville- Dec. 20th and 21st!

Here are the details for “Mission C’ville” (Dec. 20 and 21)!  We’ll be serving in the community, going to the zoo, and staying overnight at the church!

Tuesday-

-12:15 PM-  Meet at the church

-12:30-  Joshua Cup.  We’ll drink coffee and talk about our plans.

-1:30-  Women’s Resource Center

-3:30-  Painting at Trinity Mission

Dinner

Evening time-  We’ll be delivering gifts to a few families, and completing various projects from the New Hope service wall.

8 or 9 pm-  Back to the church for the night.

Wednesday

9 AM-  Pam’s Promise  (Dress warm.  Some of this will be outside)

-Lunch

-1:30-  Wilson Learning Center

5ish-  Christmas at the Zoo in Indy!

Please bring:  Warm clothes (especially for the zoo), clothes to paint in, $10, Bedding, Toiletries, snacks (optional).

This schedule is tentative, with approximate times.  There may be a few changes/additions.  If you can’t attend the entire time, you may come when you are free.

If you haven’t already, please let us know if you’ll be attending so we can plan accordingly!!

November/December Youth Events

November 18-20=  ICYC (Indiana Christian Youth Convention).  This is a Sr. High conference!  We still have spots available if you want to join us!

December 4th=  UNITE C’VILLE=  At the Southmont Auditorium. 6-8 PM.

December 20-21=  MISSION C’VILLE + CHRISTMAS AT THE ZOO!   We will be serving at various places in the community during these two days, and staying overnight at the church!  We will also be going to Christmas at the Zoo in Indianapolis!   (You can still attend the zoo portion if you’re unable to attend the service projects, but we would love to have you do both!)

Exploration Acres- Sept. 24th

We are going to Exploration Acres on Saturday, September 24th.  Corn Maze, Fire Pit with hot dogs and smores, Pumpkin Patch, Laser tag, and more!  Cost is $10 plus any money you’d like to bring for extra concessions or laser tag.

Sign up by WEDNESDAY if you plan on going!  (Let Tyler know to sign up.)

Unite C’ville

The next “Unite C’ville” event is Sunday, August 7th!  Bring money for dinner (food trucks), and join us for a fun night- uniting with other youth groups in our community!

Youth News

NEW ORLEANS MISSION TRIP- JULY 17-23:    For those attending this mission trip, here are the details:

-We’ll be leaving bright and early-  7 AM on Sunday.  We’ll be returning in the early afternoon on Saturday.

-Everyone needs to fill out this medical release form ONLINE:  https://bridge.ciy.com/form/engage/index.htm?EM=tyler@newhopefortoday.org&CN=00000840&YMF=Tyler&YML=Smith&CH=New+Hope+Christian+Church&EI=EDM16LA

-Packing List:  Bedding (They provide mattresses), Towel(s),  Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Pen, Work Gloves (optional), Extra clothes, Money for travel meals (8), Toiletries, Swimsuit,  Work clothes (we may be doing some painting/landscaping).  Make sure to also have some close-toed shoes.    We will have coolers for drinks, but you may also bring your own water bottle if you’d like to.

-Everyone ALSO needs to print and fill out the 2 forms that were emailed for the camp we are staying at.

-Everyone needs to download the CIY Engage App.  You can find our trip on there and you’ll be able to see lots of information.
